We harvest our honey by first gently brushing the bees from the frames. Next, the comb is uncapped with the honey then being extracted by hand and strained, never having been heated or filtered.  For this reason, the honey retains all of its natural goodness.  You are able to taste the difference.

You can choose to buy your honey from a national store.  If you do, the beekeepers and ecology where the honey was produced will benefit from your patronage.   However, if you want your local ecology to benefit from the pollination of the honey bee, you should choose to buy your honey from a local beekeeper.

If you are a southwestern Virginia resident, please contact us by phone or email and we will make arrangements for you to pick up our honey locally.  Otherwise, we will be happy to ship your order to you. Shipping costs are extra based on customer location (we usually ship via UPS or U.S. Postal Service).
